A Helping Hand.

As a female director, the creation of A Helping Hand has been a personally motivated journey. I’ve seen the struggles that women face within the film industry up close and personal. Far too often, women who are talented and capable are shoved aside because of the perception that women aren’t capable of mastering technical roles.

A Helping Hand was created as a way to share with the world outside of the film industry the challenges that women face. But, it also provided an opportunity to bring on female crew heads in roles they’d previously been denied. I hope this film and the journey we've taken will prove women can do anything they try, despite other people's perceptions.
