Rubber and Glue deals with the ever human concept of empathy. 

Faye, a troubled teen, is locked in prison because of her physical reaction to empathy. As Faye undergoes treatment for her disease she must choose between feeling empathy and compassion for the people around her, and losing her life to a debilitating disease. 

Rubber and Glue presents a society where people with empathy cannot survive. As our society walks the line of social justice issues, we all must face the same decision Faye does.
